The Secret to Living a Problem Free Life




The secret to living a problem-free life is learning that the real problem is your response to problems, not problems themselves. Let me explain.

Life has problems—in fact, it is filled with them. When a baby is born, some parents are filled with problems, so an unborn child is born with many obstacles to overcome. Some of these problems aren't even created by their own doing. 

The world has problems of its own. From the economy, famine, disease, war, climate change, natural disasters, no matter how large or small...problems abound and there is nothing you can do to live a problem-free life.

Whether you are facing problems created by your own doing, or if someone is dumping their problems on you or creating problems for you to deal with, the secret in life is this: It is your response to problems, not problems, that is the real problem.

How do you respond to problems? It doesn't matter who created the problems, where they came from, or even what they are...what matters is how you respond to them.

Whether dealing with stubbing your toe on the way out the door for work, getting cut off by an irate driver early in the morning, or going to work to find out you've been fired and will soon be evicted from your home...the problems you face, aren't your problems.

The problem is in how you respond.

Your thoughts have power and when you learn to face every problem in life with the mindset that you will not focus on the problem, but instead remain steadfast as you focus on the solution, you will remain positive.

If you've been living live with a pessimistic perspective, it may take a while before you can retrain your focus to look at solutions rather than problems, but you can do it.

Don't give up.

The more you utilize this strategy in your life, you will soon discover that when problems arise, you are no longer conditioned to react in the same negative way. Instead, you will take a deep breath, inhale peace, exhale relaxation, focus, and calmly and confidently solve your problem.

Then as time goes by, you will realize that you are no longer held hostage by the problems in your life, but instead, are conquering all challenges with confidence, calmness and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Chestnut Bud can help those who need help to focus on their current, and present situation in order to move forward on their journey. 

Sometimes in life, people make mistakes, learn their lesson then move on. Chestnut Bud appears in our reading today to say at other times, we fail to learn lessons and continually make the same mistakes. This is an unhealthy and destructive pattern that results in stagnation and failure to grow or move forward. Spirit is asking us to do a quick inventory and see if there are any situations in our lives we repeat. Many of us continue driving down a dead-end street trying to get to a different destination. It simply will not happen.
